Wayanad, Kerala.

The Bridgeway Group's collaborative social impact initiative, JSS (Jan Shikshan Sansthan), has initiated a proposal for a skill training cum production unit as part of its support for the landslide victims of Wayanad. The MoU was handed over to the honorable Minister for Revenue and Housing, K Rajan, during the Job Fest conducted by Kudumbashree at Meppadi, Wayanad.
After a thorough study of the landslide, it was concluded that the most affected among the victims were the women, whose primary source of income came from the tourism sector.
Under the coordination and monitoring of Kudumbashree, the program will be implemented, training a total of 80 women who are victims of the Wayanad landslide.
The program combines vocational training with actual production activities.
This initiative would help the women acquire new skills and employment, ultimately contributing to their rehabilitation and economic well-being.
This is a valuable program designed to provide support and opportunities for individuals affected by landslides.
Along with this proposal by JSS, the Group has also provided job offers for 17 other landslide victims. Five job offers came from our unit, Indus Motors Co. Pvt. Ltd and the other 12 were from other Bridgeway Group companies.
